Macquarie Valley Funerals will transfer the deceased from place of death within the local Mudgee area including Rylstone, Kandos, Gulgong, Dunedoo, Coolah and surround areas to Macquarie Valley Funeral Home and our accredited mortuary holding facility, transfer is by a refrigerated purpose-built mortuary vehicle. Mortuary care by experienced staff at our accredited mortuary facility, we do not charge for the refrigerated holding of your loved prior to burial or cremation. Local transfers are $450.00 (includes GST).

Our Professional Service fee incorporates the various tasks and services typically involved in arranging, planning and conducting a funeral. 118 Market Street, Mudgee is our main address, which includes our chapel, private courtyard and certified mortuary.

Availability of a staff member to meet you in the comfort of your home.
Complimentary advertising on local radio KRR, 3 Rivers and 2MG, advertising on our website and our funeral notice boards in local areas.
Placement of death and funeral notice in newspapers.
Arrangement of cremation certificates, lodgement of registration papers with Births Deaths & Marriages NSW.
All necessary staff, one modern silver hearse and one 4 seat mourning coach on the day of funeral.
Advice and support following the funeral.
Our Professional Services Fees Excludes:
After hours viewings.
Full embalming (required for overseas repatriation and other situations) at cost.
Weekend or Public Holiday fees.
Travel outside our usual operating area.
Additional vehicles.
Payment of third parties, which are call third party fees.

Cremation - No Service – No Attendance

Service includes basic cremation shell coffin, transport from place of death within the local area including Rylstone, Gulgong, Kandos and surround areas to Macquarie Valley Funeral Home and our accredited mortuary holding facility. Transfer is by a refrigerated purpose-built mortuary vehicle. Lodgement of registration papers with Birth Death & Marriages NSW and cost of Death Certificate and mortuary preparation and care. Complimentary advertising on local radio KRR and 3 Rivers, advertising on our website and our funeral notice boards in local areas. This fee includes cremation cost($880.00 including GST) and transfer to crematorium.

Service includes: Our professional services, including all staffing at the graveside, full graveside setup, lowering device, marquees, seating, sound systems, water stations etc. Complimentary attendance book. Registration of death with the registrar of Births, Deaths, & Marriages and cost of death certificate.
