About us

Here at Macquarie Valley Funerals, we offer a full range of services to the families of the Central Tablelands of NSW and beyond. Our philosophy is to listen - and only after listening and understanding, provide families with options and guidance to ensure that the funeral service we provide is not only a fitting tribute to a life lived, but of benefit to those who remember that life, now and in the future. We are fully conversant with all religious denominations’ specific needs and tenets and can tailor a service to meet any requirements.

Our modern vehicle fleet includes hearses, mourning coaches and a purpose built mortuary ambulance enabling us to undertake local, intra and interstate transfers with our own trained people providing the service. We are also well-versed in carrying out funeral services in areas away from our Central Tablelands home and arranging interstate and overseas repatriations where required. As members of the Funeral Directors Association of NSW, we observe a strict code of ethics, ensuring that the families we serve will receive the care, attention and service essential when they face a bereavement.

Our people are fully trained and experienced in all aspects of funeral services, enabling them to offer advice and suggestions to our clients’ families or to listen and understand what the family desires.  We realise that being a regional area, it is not always convenient for a family to come to our office. Our staff are always available to attend your home or desired location, no matter which area you live to make arrangements.

Our head office, located in Market Street Mudgee, is the base for our operations. Our private mortuary facilities and vehicle fleet are all located within one premise with our administrative offices and arrangement/selection rooms, chapel and private gardens. Our mortuary facilities are fully approved by the local authority and exceed the standards laid down by the various professional associations to which we belong. Our fleet of hearses, mourning coaches and mortuary ambulances are among the most up-to-date fleets in service in Rural NSW.
